“After being thrown out of the windscreen of a car when I was 16, I have suffered with my neck, shoulders, back, hips- basically my entire body over the years. My professional dance career was plagued with injuries, which then inspired me to move in to Personal Training, Pilates and Sports Massage. I loved getting people moving, but I felt like there was a missing link……

I began to take more of an interest in the types of nutrition I was putting in to my body, when I was diagnosed with IBS and Leaky Gut. I started to notice how different my body felt when my nutrition was on point; my moods lifted, my energy levels increased, I was stronger, I began to feel like a different person. But still, there was something missing…….

Skip forward a few years and after being a part of military life, I was diagnosed with PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder). As I worked through my trauma with Hypnotherapy, I could feel things really start to change. My anxiety levels dropped, my IBS calmed down and the pain in my body began to subside; I started to function normally.

This has brought me to a place where I firmly believe that whatever our issues, we need a balanced combination of Physical, Physiological and Mental Health factors. And unless we look at all three aspects together, we will never be fully functional or happy.

Since going on this path, I want to help other people start to feel better within themselves. This journey has taken me from studying in Vancouver Canada, to volunteering work with the war victims in Bosnia & also working with some of our amazing Invictus athletes. This book is not yet finished & every time I learn more about the body and the mind, I look forward to bringing it back to help people in a bigger and better way.”
